 Reporting to the Director of Development Operations, this person is a skilled DevOps engineer with experience in automation and cloud technologies. You will be working with a team of highly talented engineers and security specialists in an effort to develop practical scalable solutions in AWS through existing or new applications.

Your Rhythm:

  • Work collaboratively with the Development, Security, and Support teams to build and maintain cloud infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues gathered from reporting tools, and user feedback.
  • Learn about new services that may be used with the existing environment or applications.

 

Your Composition:

  • Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required)
  • 3-5 years experience in a software engineering or systems administrator role.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes and best practices
  • Experience with source control management software such as Git
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using CloudFormation, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, or equivalent
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Graphite, Grafana, OpsGenie, or equivalent
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
  • Experience with Docker, ECS/EKS, and/or Kubernetes a plus
  • AWS Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps certifications a plus
